Jacqueline Bowen, O.D., FAAO
Dr. Bowen grew up in Helena, Montana, and attended the University of Sioux Falls in Sioux Falls, SD. She became an eye doctor upon graduating in 1992 from Southern California College of Optometry, and completed her residency in Ocular Disease at Omni Eye Specialists in Denver. Following her residency in 1994 she purchased an optometry practice here in Greeley, which developed into the current See Life Family Vision Source.
Dr. Bowen proudly served on the Colorado Optometric Association Board of Trustees for 7 years, holding the office of President during 2003-04, and currently she currently serves on the Board of Trustees of the American Optometric Association, the fourth Coloradoan in the organization’s 95-year history to do so.
Dr. Bowen was honored as Young Optometrist of the Year in 2000, and as Colorado’s Optometrist of the Year for 2012. She has maintained Fellowship in the American Academy of Optometry since 1995. In 2013 Dr. Bowen became one of the first optometrists in Colorado to become Board Certified in optometry.
Her hobbies & activities include the Kiwanis Club of Greeley, P.E.O., Scroll & Fan, church involvement, and the Greeley Central HS music boosters. She and her husband, Doug, who is the Administrator at Christ Community Church, have been singing members of the Greeley Chorale since 1993. They are proud parents of two active teenage sons and enjoy time with family through music, skiing, walking, and traveling, especially to the ocean!
Amber Busche, O.D.
Dr. Busche enjoys serving patients at See Life Family Vision Source. She was raised in Northwestern Iowa, and attended the University of Northern Iowa where she graduated with a bachelors degree. She then completed her doctorate of optometry degree at the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She is a member of the Colorado Optometric Association and serves as a legislative keyperson for the COA. By volunteering with several organizations throughout the year, providing local vision screenings and eyewear for those in need, Dr. Busche is able to use her skills to serve the community that she loves.
Dr. Busche and her husband Aaron take every available opportunity to travel and visit friends and family. They also enjoy hiking, mountain biking, cooking, running and cheering on the Denver Nuggets and Broncos. Training and competing in marathons and half marathons is one of Dr. Busche’s favorite ways to relax. She and her husband also enjoy walks and play dates with their English Crème Golden Retriever named Aspen. Dr. Busche has a real passion for animals and enjoys giving back to the community by volunteering weekly with Weld County Humane Society and the Golden Retriever Rescue of the Rockies.
Ronald L. Mearsha, O.D.
Dr. Mearsha, a Colorado native, attended the University of Northern Colorado in Greeley and graduated from Colorado State University in 1993. He then continued his education at Pacific University, College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. At Pacific University, he completed his doctorate in Optometry, graduating with honors in 2000.
Dr. Mearsha has enjoyed his years serving Greeley and the surrounding communities by offering quality family eye care. He is an active member of Centennial Rotary Club serving as chairman of the Better Schools Better Community committee and has also served on the clubs Board of Directors.
Dr. Mearsha has a strong interest in developmental optometry and determining how using vision therapy can improve classroom performance for students, as well as increase performance for athletes in a variety of sports. As a member of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development and American Optometric Associations Sports Vision Section he is able to continually learn of new and exciting advances in the area of Vision Therapy.
Dr. Mearsha resides in Greeley and in his spare time he enjoys golfing, camping, reading, home projects and family activities with his wife, Susie, and their three beautiful children.
Toni, our Practice Administrator, smoothly coordinates the clinic and optical department to provide our patients with the utmost customer experience. As a certified para optometric, frame buyer, and cosmetologist. Her wealth of knowledge in these key areas helps her assist patients, with vision and style needs. Toni is goal minded and strives to have a successful See Life team. Outside of the office Toni is busy serving the optometric profession as a Vision Source facilitator for northern Colorado, in which she conducts meetings with other optometric professionals to continually improve every area of our office and other optometric practices in the area. Toni is also a full time student at Colorado Christian College obtaining her bachelor’s degree in Business Management . Toni is a mother of 2 young men, and a true Dallas Cowboys fan.
Our billing coordinator, Randy, enjoys navigating the insurance world for our patients here at See Life, using his knowledge in both worlds of vision and medical plans to get the most benefit your plan will allow. Randy is a graduate from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He continues to support CSU athletics and doesn’t miss an opportunity to cheer on the Denver Broncos. Randy is married with two young boys and attend Greeley Wesleyan Church. They enjoy watching movies, visiting Estes Park, and are guardedly optimistic about Star Wars VII! When offered, Randy is not likely to pass on popcorn or Coca-Cola.
Sammi, our optometric technician, assists the doctors by collecting valuable data. She complements her skills at See Life by being a trained CNA and EMT, and enjoys being able to assist the doctors in providing a through and comprehensive exam to all of our patients. Sammi has had a great understanding and appreciation for eye health, eye wear and contact lenses since receiving her first pair of glasses at age two and transitioning to contact lenses at age ten. Outside of the office, Sammi enjoys spending time with her husband and their “baby” Odie at the dog park or watching scary movies and anything Halloween related.
Cathy, our experienced optician, works diligently to anticipate your every eyewear need and keeps you looking your best. She has a passion for assisting patients to find frames and lenses that have the perfect match for their fashion and lifestyle needs. Cathy holds a certificate in optometric and para optometric training and has over 25 years of optical experience. She has been happily married for over 35 years and enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law and four grandchildren. During her free time Cathy quilts, holds membership in The Daughters of the American Revolution, and cheers on the Rockies and the Broncos.
Beth will welcome you as you enter our practice and is trained in multiple areas of patient care, including assisting patients with the selection of best-suited frames and lenses or contact lenses based on their needs for work, lifestyle activities and fashion. She is ready to answer any questions you may have regarding your experience in our office. Most importantly she enjoys the relationships with each of our patients through the partnership of improving their eye health. Beth enjoys actively serving her community with the local cub scouts troop and enjoys spending time with her three boys and her husband of over 20 years. Her newest hobby has taken on a life of its own, which is couponing.
Miranda is an American Board Certified optician, and enjoys helping our patients find frames that fits their style and keeping our inventory in check. During her free time, Miranda enjoys attending comic conventions with her boyfriend, curling up with a good book or video game, and being entertained by her two cats. Although Miranda was thwarted by Ken Jennings on the famous Jeopardy show, she has never, ever gone bowling!
Erin Lindsey, our para-optometric technician is always happy to assist our doctors in collecting essential data. Her warm and friendly demeanor always helps our patients to feel welcome and taken care of. Erin Lindsey earned her Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice and human services from the University of Phoenix. She loves all things science fiction/fantasy, and is always up for a scary movie. In her free time, Erin Lindsey enjoys spending time with her family and making things with her hands; including crochet, cross-stitch, and jewelry making. Erin Lindsey was raised in Greeley and resides with her two adorable pugs
Cynthia is one of our front desk coordinators and has been in the patient care field for 5 years. She is originally from Fort Morgan, but was raised in Mexico. She enjoys helping our patients prepare for their appointments, and loves being able to help the Spanish-speaking community. She also loves spending time with her boyfriend of 3 years and their 1 year old son. In her free time she likes to travel, try new recipes, and listen to good music. Cynthia brings a bright and warm energy to the See Life family!
